The Alfa Laval BRPX 213-14S self-cleaning sanitary disc separator for butteroil / AMF
edible fat and dairy applications is previously used in the butter oil industry as a continuous
self-cleaning centrifugal separator that separates molten butterfat at approximately 80–90 °C into butter oil

and sludge. It is a core machine for producing clear
low-moisture anhydrous milk fat (AMF) / butteroil with high oxidative stability.Machine comes with the bowl

The process flow is illustrated in the attached P&IDs and flowcharts.Butterfat is first melted and conditioned in the T100 process. During melting
citric acid is added at a dosage of 0,5 kg per 1.000 kg of butterfat. The melted product is then transferred through a preheater and heated to approximately 80–85 °C before entering the separation section. The melting and preheating equipment are excluded from the scope of supply.Prior to Separator #01
the butterfat is mixed with hot water for a washing step. Approximately 2.300 kg/h of butterfat is combined with 1.150 L/h of water at approximately 95 °C
corresponding to a 50% washing water ratio.The washed product is fed to Separator #01:Alfa Laval BRPX 213-14SHamburg Machinery stock number: #1506After the first separation stage
the product is transferred to Separator #02:Westfalia SA35-01-076Hamburg Machinery stock number: #1507This second separation stage provides the final purification of the butteroil. The finished product
with a purity of approximately 99,5% milk fat
is subsequently transferred to the T200 process for further processing or storage.The heavy phases
including sludge and fat-containing wastewater from the first two separators
are routed to Separator #03:Alfa Laval CMPX 213Hamburg Machinery stock number: #1508Separator #03 is used as a recovery and rework separator. Its function is to separate residual fat from the heavy phase
produce clarified wastewater
and recover approximately 10–40% of the fat
which is returned to the T100 process for reprocessing.This configuration maximizes butterfat recovery

and ensures efficient wastewater clarification within the butteroil production process
